Straighten

Gentle chiropractic techniques are used to create structural alignment. There is no
‘cracking’ or ‘crunching’ of bones.  By bringing the joint to its neutral position, muscle and ligament balance is
created.  To maintain the neutral joint position we believe that the number of sessions should be low.  We find that the less frequently we treat the joint, the more likely it will ‘stay in position’.  We normally only need to treat the patient once per week to achieve great results.

Soft Tissue Work

Our sports massage therapist will break down any adhesions or scar tissue that has built up within the tissues.  The aim of these sessions is to improve tissue quality and not to over-stretch or weaken the muscles.  Once the structure has been well aligned, the soft tissue improvements are long lasting. This naturally leads to better flexibility and function as the muscle is balanced and pain free. Now that the movement is correct it is important to strengthen and address lifestyle factors that may impact your long term maintenance.
